巡査部長をひったくりで逮捕

　警視庁昭島署の４０歳の巡査部長が、六本木で女性から現金６万円入りの
ショルダーバッグをひったくり逮捕されていたことがわかった。

　調べによると、１、２本の缶ビールを飲んでおり、仕事でむしゃくしゃして
やったと供述しているという。

Police sergeant arrested for snatching

 A 40-year-old police sergeant of the Akishima Police Station, Tokyo 
Metropolitan Police Department was arrested after snatching a woman's 
shoulder bag containing 60,000 yen in cash in Roppongi, officials said.

 According to the investigation, he drank a can or two of beer and 
saying he did it because he has been frustrated with work.
